i do not trust biker shorts. history has shown they love to humble me. waistband rolling like it’s trying to flee the scene, thighs slowly being vacuum sealed, me doing that casual little tug every thirty seconds pretending i’m fine. i sized up to a medium on purpose because i refuse to be psychologically terrorised by workout shorts. anything that squeezes my thighs or makes me hyperaware of my own legs is simply not invited into my life. best decision i made all week. the moment i pulled these on i knew i’d won. no rolling. no pinching. no mysterious bulges that weren’t there five minutes ago. just calm. peace. shorts behaving correctly.the first thing i clocked was the hem. it’s not a straight cut sausage casing situation. the hem is slightly curved, almost petal shaped, which sounds like marketing nonsense until you see it on your body and realise oh. this is why they’re not riding up like they’re trying to escape my legs. which i do not say lightly. i have thighs that will absolutely seize an opportunity if fabric is weak. it’s genuinely flattering and feels thoughtfully designed rather than “we cut fabric and hoped for the best”.gentle bestie psa because i love you. if the waistband is rolling down or the legs are rolling up, that’s not a body problem. you are beautiful. it’s spandex being overstretched. that’s the villain. sizing up fixed absolutely everything for me. no pinching, no bulging, no feeling like i’m being punished for having legs. just smooth, secure, comfortable shorts that stay where they’re meant to.they’re stretchy but not flimsy, supportive without feeling like shapewear in disguise. thick enough not to be see through but still lightweight. the waistband stays put. squat proof. the pocket holds essentials without turning the whole situation into a bulky crime scene. i’ve worn these to work out, to lounge, to exist. washed them multiple times. no pilling. no disintegrating regret. they’ve not changed their behaviour once. which frankly puts them ahead of most things in my life.🧺helpful care tip i live by.🧺 i wash mine in a delicate garment bag. not because they’re precious little flowers, but because it keeps the spandex happy and extends the life of anything stretchy. five seconds of effort, many extra wears. worth it.these cost about two iced chai lattes. if you’re new to my reviews, chai is currency. i don’t know what things cost in abstract numbers, only in beverages i love. two chais for shorts that don’t bully me feels like a fair and just exchange.✨tl;dr✨sized up, achieved peace. no rolling, no riding, no self-conscious spirals. cute curved hem, loyal waistband, thighs respected. two iced chais well spent.

5″ is too small if you have muscular thighs
I do like the colors and material but I have fairly large muscular thighs and these are just a little too short and did ride up just walking around the house for 5 minutes.

So buttery soft and comfortable.
These yoga shorts are absolutely amazing. The material is buttery soft, and not too thick, but not thin and see through at all, making them incredibly comfortable for any workout or casual wear. The length is perfect—not too long and not too short—so they stay in place without riding up. The fabric feels super durable and clearly built to last for a very long time. I also love the unique design detail at the bottom, which really makes them stand out from all the other options out there. If you’re looking for high‑quality, stylish, and comfortable workout shorts, these are a fantastic choice.

Ok, so I knew when I got these that I would not be wearing them out of the house. I’m too large to feel comfortable unless wearing them as a swimsuit bottom or something in private. For reference, I’m 5’10” tall and normally an 18W/2X. I got these in a 3X because I figured they’d be on the tighter side. The 3X fits well and I don’t think a 2X would have worked at all. The pink color is not the most flattering, in my opinion, if you have cellulite and fat jiggles. The color shows everything. These are shorter shorts than I usually get, but I actually find them comfortable for walking because they don’t ride up in the thighs and I have very, very thick thighs. The waist comes up high enough to hide some of my fat rolls too. The dolphin hem is a cute touch. I think these would have been better for me in black or a darker color that didn’t highlight ALL of my imperfections. However, I still wear them around the house and have used them for a lighter workout. They do dry quickly and the fabric is stretchy and breathable. I wish I’d have gotten a darker color to use as a bathing suit bottom while out on our boat. I think these would be amazing shorts if you are on the smaller side or have more confidence than I’d do. The 4 stars instead of 5 is mainly for the pink color because it’s just very unforgiving.

Cheaply made & ride up badly
I’m not a fan of these biker shorts unfortunately! I do like the color and I thought they fit really well when I first put them on, and I did love the cut of the legs (very flattering) but I wore them around the house for less than 10 minutes and the legs rode up so badly! The waist band also folded down immediately. When I took them off and started looking at them more closely I also noticed they are cheaply made. The fabric isn’t cut closely at the seams and overlaps. I wouldn’t recommend these shorts.

Comfortable and reliable high-waisted workout shorts
I’ve found that I can usually trust the Baleaf brand, and these shorts certainly didn’t disappoint. The ethereal blue color I received was just like the photos and very pretty. I noticed that the fabric is a good weight—not too thin—so I felt comfortable working out in them without feeling exposed.I really liked the design details, especially the curved hem, which I found to be a very flattering touch. The waistband is wide and secure, and I was happy to find that there was absolutely no rolling up in the leg while I moved. While I noticed the pocket in the rear waistband isn’t the roomiest, I think it’s great for small essentials like keys. These are very comfortable shorts at a standard price point, and in my experience, the quality makes them well worth it. I would definitely recommend these.
