Tried these on and they are awesome so now I’m staying in them for the rest of the day.I really love the waistband how it’s wide and flat across the belly but stretchy the rest of the way around. Holds my belly in while I’m moving around (appreciate the help lol). The opening for thighs is just perfect for me and my thighs are on the thicker side. These are very comfortable and feel like they have the perfect closeness and closures around all parts of my legs, and are designed to allow me to move freely while moving AND sitting.The pockets are really nice; large, with a full zip closure and I LOVE how they are positioned more forward. I was surprised at how much I actually really liked that positioning and now I’m wondering why all my other pants pockets are so far back and small. You can put your hands in your pockets a little more in front of you than what I’m used to – think like how comfortable it is to rest your hands in the front pocket of a hoodie. Just feels natural and without them being so far backI was a little surprised by the built-in liner (a full brief panty sewn in) – I didn’t notice that in the product description. But it is way more comfortable than I expected. The hemming of the brief is soft and stretchy and doesn’t dig in, overall it makes me feel more secure.The fabric and stitching are lightweight. I’d say 3.5/5 for material & stitching quality, and 5/5 for design & fit. Considering the price being under $20 and ~$15 with a coupon at the time of writing, that’s a good value to me because I’d probably pay about that for a pair in a department store that are slightly more robust material but don’t fit me near as well.I ordered an XL and it feels just a tad snug, but that has always been my experience with running shorts in general. Overall I am very happy with these and would definitely buy another pair.

The perfect athletic shorts!
These shorts are the best. Due to lighting issues on my end, it was impossible to photograph the built-in panty but I can tell you it’s comfortable, it’s full coverage, and it almost feels like it has a little “control top” built in somehow. I selected the black color so I could mix and match it with all of my tops. But I have to say that bright Pink color is calling my name too. 💗 I typically wear a Large. I am 5’9″ and weigh 176 lbs. But ordered an XL instead. The panty inside fits me perfectly and the actual shorts is a more forgiving fit. I probably would have been fine in a Large size, but I would have been a bit self conscious about bending and squatting while wearing them. The look is really on point for me. They show off my legs nicely without being to short and “riding up”. I like the zip up pockets and reflective graphic next to the pockets; they are a sharp look. The fabric is lightweight and moisture wicking. Also the wide elastic waistband and flat front panel kind of holds things in and up, while making my waist look a little smoother. And for about $20, I think getting several pairs of these shorts are in order.

Baggy fit.
These BMJL Women’s Workout Gym Shorts are lightweight and comfortable. They fit well. However, I think I could have sized down to a medium for a more flattering fit. It just looks a little baggy on. It has 2 zippered side pockets. Overall, I’m happy with these shorts.

comfortable, modest, and big zipper pockets
These are so comfortable and easy to move around in! The underlayer fits snugly but isn’t so elastic that it feels constrictive, and it’s long and tight enough to provide modesty however you’re moving around. I absolutely love the zippered pockets! My phone with its case is larger than average, but it fits in the pockets, and the zippers still closed fully without any trouble. I checked the sizing chart, and these fit as I expected based on my usual size and what the size chart said. They are high waisted as described.
