Easy installation
The CACOE lens protectors are a welcome find to protect the iPhone camera lenses. The directions for installation made it a snap to put it on. Basically, you clean the existing lenses, remove the backing, press into place, and voilà you’re done. No hassle or worry that you misinstalled them.My only reason for not giving it a five is that the protectors do not work with every case. The protectors push out a little further, so in case I had which had a built-in lens protector could not close. Fortunately, I have two cases, and I switched to my spare.

Read the lens labels before install
I was so eager to get these that I ripped open the box, tore the lens protectors off a thick sticky surface, and slapped them over my phone camera lens. Then, I realized I was supposed to clean everything first. Oh well. Zero issues with clarity taking photos. All’s well that ends well.The protectors blend seamlessly into my phone and look very natural and durable for aftermarket purchase. The black on a navy phone looks natural because of the bottom right black circle in the camera area. And they were a little too easy to install. Cleaning is possibly optional although I wouldn’t recommend it. Perhaps I was just lucky.I have several cases for my iphone 17 pro max. One of them has the protective cover for the area near the camera which is often exposed by cases. I didn’t need to remove these lens protectors. They fit.However, I did pop them off to apply a protective sticky cover for the camera area since I usually have cases which expose that area. They popped off with just a little effort (sorry grandma, I know fingernails should be jewels not tools), and they popped back on again. I’ve traveled on an airplane with a LOT of tubulence and air pressure changes and dropped my phone twice. Lens protectors are still strongly attached.Con: wish they didn’t have white lettering.Update: whoa. Lettering tells which lens it is intended to go over. They are all same size but not all the same. Oops. I did not know that applying them.On the fence? Go for it. Good value. Now you know some important install facts that I didn’t!

I bought this colourful CACOE camera lens protector because my phone lives a dangerous life in my pockets, bags, and occasionally on the bathroom floor. Anti-scratch, drop-proof, strong-adhesion sounded like a personal challenge to my clumsy soul.The kit comes with everything you need, and even some things you don’t (I’m looking at you, Guide Stickers). The instructions are clear, and the installation is idiot-proof and takes less than a minute.Cut to me in the kitchen, filming my “chef era” as I’m making pasta. I flip the pan pretending I’m on a cooking show, the noodles revolt, and my two-week-old iPhone 17 Pro slips from the counter, bounces off a cabinet, and lands lens-first on the tile floor.The sound that came out of me was not human.I pick it up, fully ready to start shopping for a new phone and a new identity. The colourful protector has a small scuff on the edge, but the lenses are totally fine. No cracks, no scratches, no pixelly blur showing up on photos. It just shrugs like, “That all you got?”The strong adhesion part is real, too. I tried to pull one of the lens covers off after installing them, just to see – and I’m ashamed to say I lost a 20-minute wrestling match with a sticker. It has not budged. It WILL not budge. Even after drops, pockets, and one tragic slide across my car’s center console. I’m actually not too sure how I’m going to get these puppies off at all, while keeping the phone intact, if/when the time comes that I need to remove them.Bonus: the colourful look is weirdly fun. It makes the camera bumps look less like robot eyes and more like I chose to play Mr. Dress Up with my phone (iykyk).So yes, the protector survived, my camera survived, my pasta (which I forgot about in my angst over the phone) sadly did not. And my ego is still at the scene of the crime in the kitchen.

Nice quality lens covers, packing is great and installation is made super easy.I got these as over the years my lenses have becoming kind of annoying, they get wildly smudged if you look at them. It’s nice to have a fresh new cover on them to help with that as well as offer some additional protection against future scratches.
