I totally agree with other reviewers who say that it is creamy moisturizing and hydrating! I have 65-year-old skin that needs a little “extra“ and this is really great for that. It also is terrific under makeup. However, I also agree that the smell, and I mean, smell, not fragrance is a bit overpowering. Not for anyone that is sensitive to fragrance.

Velvet like texture not greasy
This cream is multi purpose used to remove make-up and moisturize your skin. At first, I wasn’t sure about the packaging because used to seeing cream in jar but if you consider the container, it is very hygienic because you don’t have to put your fingers in the jar. I have sensitive skin and experience no burning or redness. While it does have a fragrance, I find it pleasant and not strong at all. If I am carrying this in a bag with a lot of other cosmetics, I often use a small pencil case to put this and other small items in as I do not want to mash the tube. This product has been around since 1950 longer than I have (well not much longer) so that should be a statement in itself as to lasting brand. I have bought another tube and will probably buy larger size to keep in various bags. A little goes a long way not an inexpensive product but worth it in my opinion.

Beautiful skin!
I’d read an incredible review of this moisturizer in the NY Times and decided to try it. Then I read all the reviews about the intense scent and almost didn’t, as I’m sensitive to even mild scents and do not like strong scents in any products, hair, skin, candles, oils, etc. I finally decided to try this product and wondered if I’d gotten the wrong item (I hadn’t) because it barely has a scent at all and the only very mild scent it does have, is soft and does not linger at all. This is a beautiful cream on the skin, works well with other products and for me, the scent is extremely mild and a non issue. It has become a staple in the quest for hydrated and glowing skin.
