Super cool lamp with great vibes
I didn’t expect to like this lamp so much! The colors are gorgeous and super smooth — it instantly gives my room a cozy or party vibe, depending on the mode. The JBL speaker sounds clear and loud enough for chill music or podcasts, though it’s not super bassy.Setup was super easy, and the Govee app is fun to play with — tons of lighting effects! The battery lasts a few hours, which is fine, but I wish it had a handle to move it around more easily.Overall, it’s a really fun and stylish lamp that makes any room feel alive. Totally worth it if you like light shows and ambient sound.

Great Lamp/Speaker
Sounds clear with the JBL speakers. Can also do aura cast with other JBL. I love the Govee app. If connected to wifi I can turn on or off at home or away. It serves as a night light for me or as a general lamp. The light is not excessively bright and adjustable for different sorts of ambiance. Connects bluetooth and wifi.

would be perfect with alexa built in
First off I love the light! It’s big it’s beautiful, well made, and the color modes look amazing!The speaker sounds great too and has many built in white noise modes that interact with the color modes – love it!It paired easily enough to my phone for music playback (pandora etc) and I thought the sound was good – maybe a bit bass heavy but overall I was impressed.I just really wish it had alexa built-in. I tried to pair it to an echo show but it just simply wouldn’t stay connected.Hopefully the next iteration of this lamp has it built-in

as a light its awesome. wish it got brighter but its good enough to read by.as a speaker it sounds as good as an object this size should sound. the bass isnt as bad as some people let on. it gets pretty loud for indoor use.

Uncontrollable Bird Sounds – Mind of its own – Bad Software
This thing has a mind of its own. It switches itself into, “bird sounds mode” randomly in the middle of the night. It also will randomly play alarms in the middle of the night. Despite generally good build quality, the buttons are not, “real” buttons. They are touch sensitive, and one of those makes it play bird noises. Good luck turning the thing on in the middle of the night without switching it into bird mode. Regardless, it doesn’t matter because even if you dont press any buttons it will regularly switch itself into bird mode. I dug through all the settings I could find in the app and turned off all sound features, but still it wakes me up with bird noises. Also, the software is terrible.

Not the Vibe you’d expect
Slightly disappointed, Govee.You’re a generation behind with no Cast/Google Cast support. The only thing you can control with the Google home app is the light itself. Everything else is controlled by the Govee app and it’s a simply Bluetooth speaker only… With some fancy light settings. Had I known that I wouldn’t have spent the money. And speaking of settings! Some of these settings are beyond me (not a boomer). Some of the automations don’t make sense and they’re not as clear or precise on how they work or what they do. It almost has too many features for settings that are settings.The music mode at least from my experience, trying it is hard to find in the settings and then almost gave me a seizureb or was so intense. The preset colors are fun, and the speaker looks good but it feels cheap in hand.Also, for those of you wondering, it does not come with a charging base dock or station.This is especially a bummer because I was counting on this speaker to be the front end volume of my surround sound room system and they don’t connect to Google home speakers to create a group. Will it hook up to your Bluetooth TV? Yes, because it’s Bluetooth. I can’t imagine why you’d want to use this for your TV though.Otherwise it’s nice that it’s rechargeable and portable. You can take it to the kitchen to do dishes or into the bathroom to have a light and music shower party, take It outside to annoy the neighbors with your barbecue music.It does get very very loud very quickly, but the base kind of fizzles out and gets hollow in general.I wish I could say this was a 5 out of 5 like I was hoping but it’s just not all there.

Got this to replace a bed side light. After setting it up my wife saw it and made me order her one. The set up was easy. Connecting it with our network and Alexa was easy peasy. So many awesome options for different light modes, colors and moods. The speaker sound is excellent when playing music and is more than plenty loud and full when using them in paired mode for stereo sound. We absolutely love them!

Cool lamp and okay speaker. Having both in one is nice to create ambiance in any room. I like that it can be cordless. The other Govee lamps that I have must remain plugged in somewhat limiting them. I like the two in one light speaker. Also nice larger size compared to the other Govee table lamps.

Absolutely love this lamp! It has so many cool settings to give a different ambiance to what ever your mood is. My partner has one on his side of the bed too and we can put them in stereo for either the light or the speaker or both and it has amazing sound.Definitely recommend this light to anyone who wish to get a cool feeling to whatever room you are putting it in 🤗

I’m a big fan of Govee products, and visually this speaker is excellent. The lighting effects are beautiful and create a great atmosphere — Govee really stands out when it comes to ambient lighting.That said, I was a bit disappointed with the bass performance. The overall sound quality is similar to a small JBL speaker placed next to it, but the Govee Speaker Pro has slightly less bass, which was unexpected given its size.Another drawback is the Bluetooth connection, which isn’t always automatic. Sometimes I need to turn the speaker off and back on for it to reconnect properly.Overall, it’s a great product for lighting and ambiance, but the audio performance — especially bass — could be improved.
