Good cable, decent lanyard, not for my phone.
Using a USB cable as a lanyard is an interesting concept – having the stresses on a cable would typically be less than ideal, but this seems to be well designed to avoid issues with the connectors. The cable clips keep the strain off of USB-C portion of the connector. And the braided cable takes stress without issue, and is comfortable when wearing around the neck.As a lanyard for keys, etc, this is nice and convenient. The ring clip is very secure, and the flip open mechanism makes it easy and convenient to take them on and off.As a cable, it plugs in securely, and charges my phone quite nicely – super fast charging is supported with an appropriate charger on my Galaxy S24. Cable ends are a little bit oddly shaped to attach to the lanyard portion, but the fatter part is far enough from the end that it doesn’t interfere with plugging into my phone.The part of this intended to go in a phone case is not a hit. There are two tabs that are meant to go inside a case, behind your phone, sticking out through the opening for the charging port. They are cheap, flimsy plastic. And they don’t go properly inside any of the several cases I tried – they go in, but the fit is not great, and the phone is left not fully inside of the case at the base (see pictures). I have another clip of this sort, and it is metal, and feels more solid and fits a bit more securely as the metal is shaped better at the exit point to not interfere with the case. Possibly it would work better on a different case though, but for my phone I would not leave this permanently installed.For $13 at time of review, this is a reasonable price for a good cable that will always be on you, that makes a nice lanyard for keys or other small things to hang around your neck. That isn’t my phone in my case – it would likely work better if you had a case designed to clip on from the start.

High quality product
When I’m around crowds, I like to keep my pockets free and phone tucked underneath my jacket. Sure, it makes me look old, but then again my kids already think I’m old. I’ve tried other lanyards, but they serve only a single purpose and only hang my phone around my neck only 5% of the time, which means it’s collecting dust 95% of the time. This lanyard is a much better option because it serves multiple functions. It’s a high quality cable in terms of feel as well as its fast charging and data transfer capabilities. It’s soft enough the feel comfortable against the skin and flexible enough to conform against the body. The cable is easily removed for quick access. If you require high security where your phone cannot be snatched (see Talib v Crabtree for the NFL fans out there), there are alternatives that are screwed into place. Otherwise everything is high quality in terms of materials and construction. The metallic piece that the ends of the cable are inserted is lightweight, thin and does not flex (it also doesn’t swivel). The only knock is that the MSRP is high, but as of this writing, there is a coupon available that brings the price down to something more reasonable, making it a good value.

Quality Lanyard
Very, very useful, especially for travel. Seems sturdy. All of the components are metal and the cable is braided. The cable does not kink. The only plastic is the blade and tab that tethers the corss body strap to the phone. The tab is pre-molded to bend, so it may break over time and with use, however, they give you two of these, so I expect to get long w out of this.The double-ended USB-C cable is very useful. After detaching it by depressing the catch you can use it to charge the phone or use other on the go devices. Otherwise, the tab doesn’t allow for most standard cables to fully engage the port. With the detachable cable, there is no ccase swapping or switching cables.There is nothing tricky about connecting the lanyard to the phone. Great value and I don’t hesitate to recommend it for everyday and travel.

A handy cord to have on you, but a bit overpriced.
This charging cable lanyard, while handy, is not an absolute necessity at the price point. You can connect one end to your phone with this and it’s included sticker which not everyone will want to do. The cable is a decent length for charging and using it as a “strap,” but there are better options out there, in my opinion.The cable does support up to 240W fast charging, which is a pretty big plus for modern devices. The braided cord seems strong and not prone to easily being damaged. For just using it as a charging and data cable, I’d say it does a good job, but again, there are cheaper options out there.For those interested in the lanyard potential for this, it works well. To me it feels a bit gimmicky to inflate the price a bit more.
