Serves the purpose!
Just received this and got my jewelry stored away. I cut back my costume jewelry significantly so I put a lot of thought into the organizer I chose given what pieces I had left. While it isn’t perfect, it is completely suitable for my needs!Pros: compact, secure closure, lots of compartments to store in and can be modified to fit different pieces, attractive, decent quality for using man-made materials, several color options.Cons: not an anti-tarnish lining, dividers are basically cardboard with a thin velvet-like lining. The stud earring cards are a little thick. Some of my earrings won’t stay on even with tight backs. The second card is pointless; the earrings from the top card poke into the earrings on the bottom one if stacked. It may work better if the holes in the cards were staggered vs aligned. For the necklaces, a second elastic band about halfway between the hook and the top of the elastic pocket would be a nice touch to keep the necklaces in place when opening and closing. That’ll be a simple fix with a small piece of elastic and some hot glue. But it would be a nice thoughtful detail to add. I saw another that had it and was inclined to buy, but it only came in black.Overall, I’m happy. It does what it’s meant to do. And it takes up a lot less space which was the main selling point for me. It really does come down to what kind of jewelry and how much of it you have. That’s what you need to consider first and foremost when choosing an organizer. Layout and size are the main differentiators of the ones I saw here on Amazon. From there, it’s preference. Not much difference in the materials used.

Well designed and attractive…with a few flaws.
A very nice jewelry box. Not bulky at all. Easily holds quite a number of pieces with well-sized compartments. Just a few issues though. The lid falls closed if you even breathe on it. I’m thinking of cutting off the ribbons on the side so the box stays open when I want it to. The earring cards are not the best. They are too thick to hold the backs securely on stud earrings. The second card is useless because there’s not enough room to keep both without smashing the lower card. And the last problem is the chain storage. There are enough hangers but, when you close the lid, the bottom of the chains spill out of the pouch that’s supposed to keep them inside and untangled. I used a couple of push pins to tighten the pouch elastic. Looks silly but solves the predicament. Overall, I like it and the sale price was good. Just know that you might need to modify a bit.

I needed a low profile jewelry organizer. Choosing the right option was overwhelming, until I came across this one. It is spacious and attractive and now that I have it I can’t imagine life without it!

I love this jewelry box. It is made of great quality and is very spacious. I have the black box. I love how it looks expensive and has a nice silver clasp on the front. The middle insert is versatile and accommodating of various types of jewelry.My jewelry was previously out in the open and now it is tucked away and well organized.
