    Pain first then pain relief
I was recently in Europe and visited a castle that had a dungeon where some horrible acts occurred. You can imagine. While I was there I could not help thinking that this roller could be on display.I say the above as a joke, but in all honesty, this is an intense roller. Before this roller, I was using another foam roller that by comparison was very soft. It was helpful and is still worth having, but I wanted something that could dig in a little more and really hit deep muscles. I bought this roller and it does the job. I have been using this mainly on my glutes and thighs to work out some running issues. When using this roller in comparison to the soft roller, when you hit a tender spot it can be excruciating and depending on how you are working out the issues (rolling over or holding on tender spots), this can really take you to limits. I am talking the difference between fast breathing to deal with discomfort to tears in the eyes. You have to be prepared for that and know that this roller can hurt. When rolling over areas that do not have trigger points I feel that this roller feels good.Initial challenges I had was getting used to and working with the grooves and the raised areas. At first I did not like them, but eventually have come to appreciate them when you are trying to get to a problem area. The raised areas really focus a lot of pressure on specific issues like a lacrosse ball style massager or if it is too tender you can often set that area in the dip for a little less direct pressure. The grooves and ridges help you get at areas from modified angles too. It is very helpful.I have lacrosse ball style massagers too and I like them for portability. What I like about this roller is that I can use it in some areas of the glutes that I used the lacrosse balls at. So I can do some transitions to give other areas a moment while I do my work. The nature of the roller allows it to roll very easily on the surfaces I have been using it on. Hardwood floor, thin area rugs and average carpet. It work great.Overall, I am very happy with this roller and regular use in my problem areas has been helping a lot. If you have troubled areas, you need to be consistent with these rollers and do it a few times a day and try to strengthen any areas that are weak.

    Heavy duty
Def does the job. But, know the high density is gonna hurt your back at first . Lol if you want it for that.

Best back roller on the market
My FAVORITE back roller. It’s a little painful sometimes but it actually pops my back and works out alot of the tension.

High Density great quality relieves tight back muscles
This high-density foam roller has been a game-changer in our house. It’s incredibly sturdy, holds its shape, and gives just the right amount of pressure. I originally bought it for back pain, and it’s been amazing—just a few minutes of rolling makes a huge difference. What I love is how versatile it is. We use it to roll out legs, shoulders, and pretty much any tight muscles. It’s become a must-have recovery tool, especially for my daughter, who’s a competitive swimmer. She uses it after hard practices to loosen up and stay injury-free. I do CrossFit, swim and hot yoga and I use it after workouts daily. For the price and the quality, this foam roller is a fantastic buy. Anyone—especially athletes—will get great value out of it. Highly recommend!

    Next-Level Relief for Sore Muscles
The Rollga PRO has become a must-have in my recovery routine. It’s definitely firmer than your average foam roller, which is perfect if you’re used to deep tissue work and want something that actually gets into those tight spots, like the quadratus lumborum and low back. I’ve noticed a big difference in how quickly my muscles recover after workouts. I also use it to warm up before runs or as a prop during yoga—it’s super versatile. Bonus: it’s lightweight and easy to toss in a gym bag. If you’ve got experience with foam rolling and want to level up, this one’s totally worth adding to your collection.

    My favorite roller
The Rollga PRO is superior to all other foam rollers. Its “bubble-like” shape allows you to target your low and mid-back muscles more effectively than the typical cylinder type foam roller. The Rolga PRO is made of hard foam, so be mindful that it might be too much pressure for you if you are new to self-myofascial release. Start with something softer and work your way up to more of a firm roller, otherwise the pain will be too intolerable and you won’t use it.I lift weights 3x a week, and I run and hike several times a week, so I’m constantly dealing with sore, tight muscles somewhere. This roller is an important part of my daily mobility routine. I love it.The roller is lightweight, and it comes with a storage strap so you can hang it on the wall, if needed.

You might wish you had bought a roller years ago
This item works incredibly well. I can fix my back very easily and relieve discomfort. I wish I had had this roller years ago. I have used it to treat my neck, too. This is a good value.

Great but the hard version has no give
Imagine using a PVC pipe as a foam roller, that’s about how this feels. I just returned this for the softest Rollga they make and I’m hopeful that will give me just a little give? I think Rollga is the way to go, just choose the soft one.

The creases in the roller make this an excellent tool for doing some deep massages that are simply not attainable with a normal creaseless roller.

Sehr gute rolle zum massieren des Rückens aber mir ist die leider zu hart und zu groß. Deshalb hab ich die auch zurück geschickt. Wer aber eine große und harte Rolle braucht dann kann die auf jeden Fall gebrauchen.

Hits areas more deeply than other rollers. My husband said it’s the best roller he’s ever had.
