Cute vest
This is the type of vest if you are just wearing a long shelve shirt and need a vest with pockets for storage; which is exactly what I wanted! The material is really nice!

Not just for healthcare workers, I LOVE this vest for daily wear!
I was looking for a light-weight vest to wear when I am walking/jogging and liked the description on this so decided to give it a try, and am I glad I did! It’s super comfortable, thanks to the stretch and has a couple of pockets where I can tuck my cell phone and a credit card and driver’s license. There is also a small elastic loop above the chest on the left, I used this to hold my sunglasses, and it worked great. I know the vest is described as being made for health care workers, but I had a different use in mind and am very happy with it. I washed it in my washer on a regular cycle with other dark cloths and then threw it into the dryer on the permanent-press cycle. It came out perfect: No wrinkles and no shrinkage. I have also worn it on quick runs to the store, where I just wanted a lightweight vest for a little bit of extra warmth. I was surprised how much this actually worked at keeping me warm, perhaps it locked in my core body heat? I really don’t know, but what I do know it is it worked great. The zipper is nice, I ran it up and down about 30 times while pulling on the material to try and make it jump the track, but it performed extremely well and continued to zip up and down with no issues. On the inside, it’s beautifully finished, I couldn’t find any seams that looked questionable and the seams were nicely finished with a surge stitch. I love this vest, while I did size up to compensate for wearing a sweatshirt under it, it runs true to size, so ordering your regular size will fit.

True to size. The little bit of stretch is amazing compared to cotton scrubs.
I’m 5’6″ and weigh 140 lbs. I got a Large and it fits tightly over a thick sweatshirt. It’s a perfect fit over a regular shirt or thin sweater.The material is very thin, 94% polyester and 6% spandex. It appears to be quick-dry fabric.The zipper is metal, and has a little cover at the top so it doesn’t scratch your throat. There is also an elastic loop to clip on a pen, pocket watch, or stethoscope.The stitching is nice and small. There are 2 large front pockets with a snap button closure. The right pocket has a mini pocket built in that’s about 4 fingers wide.Overall this is a good value product.

I had high hopes until..
Had very high hopes for this vest until I opened the package. Material is paper thin and will absolutely NOT keep you warm. As someone who works in a very cold hospital, I can’t foresee this vest retaining any heat.There are no interior pockets, making it difficult to carry much. Although there are two exterior pockets, they appear to be quite small as well.Only upside is the fit is true to size.Overall, I do not recommend this scrub vest if your goal is to keep warm during your long shifts. This vest is literally as thick as the hospital bedding sheets. (Not thick at all).01/06 Update: Currently testing out this product at work- Unfortunately I was right.. does not keep you warm. This vest is mainly cosmetic and nonfunctional in live healthcare settings.
