Four out of four damaged – FORGET trying to buy one!
These look nice, if we could only get one not damaged. We ordered two – they arrived and the shipping was fine – however the finish was chipped off both of them. It was also obvious by the masking tape used to tape the parts bags together that these had been returned at least once before. Okay….returned and here come two more. Same thing! Parts bags masking taped shut, cartons had tape over tape. Finish was chipped and cracked on both lamps. These had been returned at least once before.

Priced Right for Product received…
I purchased an “Open Box” it was new w/tags in a flimsy box that was re-taped & not packaged securely, & it easily could have been w/extra packing materials. The mercury glass finish is missing some on the lower backside but can’t really be seen. There were two dirty spots on the shade rim (that I was able to gently wash off). The finial is really too small for such a large lampshade & doesn’t tighten firmly to the shade. I can fix that. With all that said, it’s a beautiful lamp & it goes well with my other Mercury Glass lamps in my Dining Room. For the price…I’m ok with the slight imperfections.

Lamp has horizontal “ribs”
This is the second lamp I’ve purchased. My daughter accidentally tipped over our first and broke it. The lamp is very light, so I intend on using command strips to adhere it to my end table. The first one we purchased was beautiful, and despite the finish not being as described, I used pictures from other reviews to determine it would match my space perfectly. When ordering a replacement for the broken lamp, however, the one I received had funny horizontal ribs showing through the structure of the base of the lamp. This goes against the vertical lines of the finish that appear to be ‘poured’ from the top down. It is very noticeable in the light. The second irritating thing about the replacement was that the metal piece the finial screws into is crooked, so the lamp shade does not want to sit level on the lamp… and yes, there is a third, the lamp shade is bent on the bottom, creating a wave. The box was damaged in transit, so now I have to decide whether to attempt to return it or not.

Lamp is lovely but fragile, be careful in assembling.
Be very careful assembling the lamp. The lamp is lovely and arrived without damage. The finial is a metal ball, like a ball bearing, and it slipped and shattered the lamp base which is made of glass.

Color is not as advertised…..
Originally bought one in the Ashley store (looks like the online picture). When I ordered a second one, it did not match….was more silver. Ashley was extremely difficult to work with but I liked the lamps. I finally got Ashley to refund my money and so I ordered the same lamps from Amazon. I had to replace two of them due to chips in the finish however they are okay…not perfect….now. I liked the original color better than what is being made now however I was tired of shipping lamps back and forth and so I have kept them. Again, the color is not that greeny/goldy look….more light green with silver…..
