Very sturdy, deep tissue
Got this because my chiropractor had one and recommended it. I like that it’s hard plastic under the foam because I want a deep tissue work. This helps relieve pressure when my back muscles are tight. I weigh 206ish and it’s very sturdy to hold my weight. I tend to hold stress in my lower back but also in my shoulder blades and I can get those areas with this roller. Also when my hip hurts this works well, too.

This massage roller is well made. The roller has firm compression and just enough flex making the massage of tight muscles and knots more comfortable. It is a nice length making it possible to fit both of my calves on at once. The different surfaces on the grid pattern allow multiple massage points making it effective on multiple muscles. I’ve found it versatile and lightweight. This roller was on sale when I bought it making it a very good deal. I would definitely recommend.

i carry most of my stress in my shoulders and lower back and its gotten to the point where only really hard massages can help. i’ve scoured the city for good massage places ranging from overpriced spas to shady chinese joints, but rarely only few can deliver a satisfying massage. i finally found a masseur that can deliver a decent massage at a moderate price…but still it was a luxury that i can only afford once a month. after using this foam roller, i can say the massage i got is at least comparable if not better than the one i go to once a month!i got this with some hesitation, after all…how much can a piece of log help? but it was a goldbox deal, and due to the high ratings i’ve decided to give it a go. i am so freakin glad i did because this thing rocks!!!i didn’t know how much i would enjoy using my own body weight for the massage this little thing delivers…i’m the type who like to just relax during a massage. i felt like this might feel more like a workout instead of a relaxing massage. however, this thing reaches muscle pain you didn’t even know you had! The massage it brings feels so good and relaxing…therefore, the process of utilizing your own bodyweight virtually goes unnoticed!the size is also perfect, i live in an nyc apt so i dont have a lot of room. this foam roller is small but super good quality. the color is also really cool, which is an added bonus. i got the black one with a neon green interior, it looks sleek and modern and matches my decor.i leave it right next to my bad so i can just collapse onto bed after using it…thats how relaxed it made me feel. next time i’m gonna try a hot bath then use it…i think it’ll be even more beneficial. bottom line, i’m so happy i made this purchase. it’s totally worth the money and more! i would buy it again even at full price.
