Truform 8865 was created to help treat conditions associated with poor circulation. Graduated compression technology delivers a compressive action to the leg that is greatest at the ankle, then gradually decreases toward the heart. The 20-30 mmHg Firm compression level is great for post surgery and severe edema, varicose veins, ypotension, post thrombotic syndrome (PTS), post sclerotherapy, and more. Truform therapeutic medical stockings feature classic styling and a smooth knit fabric that helps conceal unsightly conditions. The closed toe offers a more natural stocking feel. Color options are basic neutrals for all-occasion wear. Truform stockings, socks and pantyhose feature Graduated Compression Technology, which delivers a compressive action to the leg that is greatest at the ankle, then gradually decreases toward the heart. Graduated compression provides two primary benefits: it helps treat and lessen swelling for the wearer, and the compression action help to treat the slowing of blood flow so it can flow more quickly up the leg back toward the heart. Truform graduated compression support hosiery helps maintain positive circulation and leg health. We take the extra time and effort necessary to insure a therapeutically effective, comfortable fit. The combination of state-of-the-art materials and equipment, plus knitting know-how sets Truform apart from the crowd to make your legs look and feel great. Super value, great quality and fit …
I’ve been dealing with chronic venous insufficiency for a number of years. It’s progressive, though, and I’m now having to wear compression stockings daily to prevent swelling and stasis ulcers. I’ve been prescribed custom-made knee highs, but this brand was recommended to me by my local med supply as a good “backup” pair due to my measurements (I’m tall).I’m blown away by how comfortable these are! The quality is excellent and the fit is as close to perfect as one can get without going for custom made compression socks. I use a “sock butler” aid Mediven Big Butler, for Larger Sizes, MDV90000 to get into my non-zipper socks, and these go on very easily using it. I can usually get them on in less than 10 minutes. They stay up, don’t bind at the top, and the toe area is purposely loose-fitting. As long as you get the heel in the right place, you shouldn’t have any problems with tight toes.A note about fit: if you are short, be very careful, as these do run a bit long. You would probably do much better ordering the “short” length. I’m 5’8″ tall, and I have to be careful getting them on not to stretch them too much going up or I’ll end up with excess sock at the top, not a good thing as it then binds around my knee. I’ve learned, though, to put them on carefully, so I no longer have that problem. That said, these are an amazing value, easily outperforming other similar products that retail for 4 times the cost. I wash mine out by hand each night — just swish them around in sudsy water (I use a mild soap), then a quick rinse under the faucet, and hang to dry. By morning, they’re ready to wear again. I’ve just ordered two more pairs (another black pair, and a beige pair).Measure carefully, and order the size shown in the chart in the photo above. I really do like these, and can recommend them highly.

Husband likes these a lot
Hubby was getting these from a local med supply store for twice the price. He likes these much better. He had to wear them for a femoral clot he got in 2021. Clot is gone but he still wears them at his Doc’s request for Circulation . The compression is just right as is the size. He swears these are better quality than the ones from the local med supply store. Sized right.Comfortable and wash well in a mesh bag. Hang dry.

Comfort and effectiveness
Wow, I’ve been wearing compression socks for about nine months now tried several different brands. These are by far the most comfortable effective ones I’ve ever had very comfortable, but they are doing the job.

My goto brand.
I’ve purchased this product front local pharmacies and grocery stores. Very good compression (20-30), comfortable and price is reasonable. Size chart is accurate. It’s the only brand I now buy. However, my most recent purchase from Amazon seems like the material is thinner compared to my previous Truform socks. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Horrible product
First and foremost I would like to say that as compression goes these are terrible. I have been prescribed and have been wearing real compression socks for years. These are NOT compression stockings they are just a tight stocking that squeezes. They are of horrible quality and are coming apart after three wears. They, unlike real compression socks or stocking do not provide gradual compression, but basically incase your leg like a sausage casing. These are very slippery making your foot slide around even inside your shoes. The rubber band on top cuts off circulation mainly because its just too thin. If you are someone that needs compression stocking or socks these are not for you.

Functional but Impossible to Put On
I usually buy a lower compression but wanted to try these. They work great, once you get them on. It’s a struggle, since they are tight. The material is soft and well-made. They are stylish and comfortable. They look just like regular hose. The compression is good and they do seem to reduce swelling. I like the tan color of the ones I purchased. My only complaint is how difficult they are to put on and to remove – that’s why I only gave them 3 stars.
