More rounded than pictured but quality material and worth the money
They can mostly be shaped into the pictured rectangle but don’t expect nice square corners. That being said, fabulous woven baskets with the perfect style and color I needed for my space. Excellent price as well. Very glad I got them.

Nice as expected
Let me start by saying they don’t look as they are advertised when they arrive. I’m not sure where all the photos of perfect looking baskets posted on here for the 5 star reviews came from but they are exceptions to the ordinary.I’d read reviews on how they came packaged so I wasn’t surprised to receive them folded. In fact from previous reviews I’d read I expected to find them crumpled together in a box but the way they were folded and packaged was rather nice. I unfolded them and allowed them to sit open overnight and the next morning when I saw that no amount of time was going to correct the look I took an iron to them as suggested by the seller. When ironing I went heavy with both the steam and sizing. Heavy duty starch would’ve been the better option but I had sizing on hand so I decided to go with that. I set my iron on cotton and took my time spraying each area quite heavily with sizing then ironing using slight pressure. My iron emits a good amount of steam on its own but I hit the steam button a few times for that extra burst, and then slowly moved the iron over the area that was damp with sizing. I finished it by spraying sizing on the inside of the bottom and ironing it, which I found made it expand even further. When I finished ironing the first basket I set it on a table and finished forming it with my hands while it was still damp from the steam and sizing to mold it into shape. I repeated that process for the next two.They’ve completely dried and while they don’t appear as advertised I’m quite happy with the way they look. Obviously as they’re handled over time they’ll lose their shape. As I said I believe my goal would’ve been better accomplished with heavy duty starch but I decided to go with what I had on hand. I’m sure the use of heavy duty starch would’ve not only helped in holding their shape better after handling, but it also would’ve made them easier to reshape later when they need it.Only time will tell just how durable they are and although I don’t have anything heavy in them they appear to be made well. They’ll certainly suit my purpose of replacing the ugly plastic baskets I’ve been using for storage on my open shelving.I’ll update should any issues arise but for now I’m very pleased.I only gave 4 stars because even after the ironing and shaping they don’t even look close to perfect as they do in the advertisement.
